come one McNulty or any of you who has this, let's enjoy this togetherHybrid, create page for complete score of that filmGod, please, Skyscraper is more listenable than Hurricane Heist, don't dare to compare with that 'thing'Saw the movie but never listened to the score, is it worth listening to?
=========================

I think it's worth it, yes. There are some powerful, "pure Jablonsky" tracks. Can't say that the entire score is exceptional, but it's certainly better and more layered than, say, The Hurricane Heist (no offence to Lorne).
@anonymous it appears in the track "vanishing point" but there's a better unreleased version of it when William was confessing to his wife
well hybrid, if you ever happen to know who did what, add it here please :D I would really be thankful for it!!If Steffen & Max did anything, it's arrange Lorne's cues...Personally, I don´t think that Aruj and Thum got a chance (or time) to write anything for this film, but I may be wrong... who knowsIn which tracks does William's sad theme appear?Alright, these are my speculations on the credits for this version, mixed with what we already know about it from Soundclouds/websites/etc.

What we know:
Luke Richards - Today We Hunt, Running Out Of Tomorrows, Ospreys
Lorne Balfe - Battlefield

Gary Dworetsky - Final 50 seconds of Calling All Autobots

My personal speculation:
David Fleming - Drone Chase, Dive

Gary Dworetsky - History of Transformers

Max Aruj & Steffen Thum - Vivian Follows Merlin, Claim The Staff

I have no sources to back this up, these are just my guesses based on what I feel these composers' styles are.
I watched the movie yesterday. Unfortunately,the songs are in Portuguese here, in Brazil (even "Spirit"! ). But Hans' work is still amazing, intense, he's stolen the show again!Saw the movie but never listened to the score, is it worth listening to?This complete album sound like Lit!! I like to hear about this album in one day soon.I just hope they bring back William's sad theme and other variations of Dolores's theme which were unreleased in season 2It is, actually, completely in correct order. There's just 5 theme suites here & there.
Okay, I want this. Where, how much? lol

And I'm willing to bet that even those Jablonsky fans who didn't like the score wanna hear the complete album.@Ahmad i think end credits :PDo you know the chronological order for this one Hybrid? I had quick glance at the complete here and the OST album seems massively out of order16 hours of music?
Can we hear those 16 hours of music one day?I saw the film today. It's amazing and wonderful. The feeling and emotions of the 1994 film keep untouchables. The score is simply breathtaking. The songs are incredible. The stampede scene is so intense just like the 1994. Hans has made an intense, epic and beautiful score.

Please good music.

I'm guessing a release for a Zimmer/Nolan assignment is guaranteed. The format is more likely a matter of uncertainty.

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-08 00:00:00
I'm starting to wonder if this actually will be released. I mean, WaterTower has taken it down from their website, and all we really have to go on is the info on Amazon. Do you think it's been cancelled and Amazon hasn't caught up yet?

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
Yes indeed it vanished from WaterTower's website...

Funny thing is Amazon credits Lorne as composer with HZ... Finally ? :D

Lawrence reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
I understand that Lorne Balfe makes the additional music but why on amazon and also on wikipedia is he's called as the second composer?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
Why is there no such thing on WaterTower website?

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
It's available for pre-order on Amazon now, will be released on July 13.

Hybrid Soldier reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
@Lawrence

Whatever the official credit is, it's a secret for nobody that Lorne is more than just the "additional music" guy... ;)

Lawrence reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
@Hybrid Soldier

But do you expect that we become a soundtrack cover credits: Music Composed by Hans Zimmer & Lorne Balfe? I don't think so. This is not the same as in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight". And by the way I heard that "Inception" will be a independence work by Zimmer with minimal use of additional music.

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
The official site has a real sample of the official score up. It sounds great: it starts off with some guitar work by Johnny Marr (whom Zimmer has confirmed as being involved), and then the simple tempo established just builds and builds...I really hope this gets released!

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
How do you know that it has original music?

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-02 00:00:00
A blog called "The Playlist" reported it. Plus, since Zimmer was attached to the project pretty early on, I think it's reasonable to assume that what's on the site is his work.

I heard a rumour that Hans and John will be scoring Disneys new "Winnie the Pooh" film. I'm pretty worried that hans isn't planning to do the new Pirates film - this is his schedule for next summer

March 18 - Rango
May 20 - Pirates 4
June 3 - Kung Fu Panda 2
July 15 - Winnie the Pooh

It's possible but fairly tight. But possibly with the new director and direction he won't be interested in returning to POTC. I really hope not.

2012 should be one of his best years ever with sequels to Sherlock Holmes, Angels and Demons and the Dark Knight, three of his best scores in recent times

Also the hobbit by howard shore! Can't wait for 2012!!

Adrian reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-19 00:00:00
@ blondie,

I heard Hans won't do Rango, but I don't recall who would be doing it in his place... I thought it was John Powell, and Kung Fu Panda 1 was with John Powell, so probably they would compose 50/50.
That leaves only Winnie as a ''complete'' project, so he could have time for Pirates 4!

Anonymous reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-19 00:00:00
Yeah Kung Fu Panda's the only one thats right on top of P4 really.

That's the first I've heard that hans wont do rango - are you sure you're not mixing it up with Mars Needs Moms (john powell replaced hans on this)

Enrico reply Replies: 0 || 2010-05-19 00:00:00
I agree with Blondie, even if I prefer to hear Zimmer in POTC4 than in Kung Fu Panda 2... :S
