I don't know if there are any country restriction, and it's dubbed in French or German (most of it was spoken in English).
But it was really interesting, about HZ's past ! And it did not forget RCP, like most of the featurettes about HZ... There was Martin Tillman, Lorne Balfe, Ramin Djawadi... :)
just watched the Zimmer doc! Awesome! A lot of Lorne quotes. He's such an honest guy: On his first day at RCP Hans asked Lorne if he's aware of the computer programm which is usually used to compose the score. Lorne was like "No...*pause* I'm joking of course I am!" dispite he wasn't aware! :) so he stidied the instruction book all night...
tomorrow March 13th at 10.25 pm TV broadcast ARTE airs a documentary about Hans Zimmer!! A lot of directors (like Werner Herzog and Gore Verbinski), producers and of course RPC guys, including Lorne Balfe nad Martin Tillman are talking about the master!
self edited "expanded" scores?? that isn't worth to check out! Dark Knight 3 CD Complete or an equal edition of Inception...that would be worth dying for!!
That is the so-called 'expanded' score. I found it on the blog thescoreplace. The guy makes his own custom covers. I posted a link for the over a month or two ago. I think it's a fake.
Is the Drive Angry Soundtrack out yet? I know it's been released digitally, but I want to download it (not through iTunes....I will get it eventually). I'll have to listen to the sample of it in iTunes.
As said Dakota below, the track "Mass VS Acceleration" in "Drive Angry" sounds just like Mombasa, it's pretty perplexing and plagiarism to me. Too bad Inception didn't get the Oscar, this OST fits so perfectly the movie ! (but I couldn't chose between this and HTTYD)
ja, i see! :) well, I think all the suite kinda stuff (Time, Waiting for a Train, Old Souls and so forth) is composed by Hans while Lorne did all the tracks for the scenes in particular (Radical Notion, 528491).
