Atli still has his studio at Remote but mostly works from home in Iceland.<br><br>Guillaume game back to settle to Remote a couple of years ago (before he was splitting time between RCP & France).<br><br>Heitor still is at RCP as far as I know, haven't heard anything in a while.<br><br>Nathan Stornetta left Remote in 2015 (against Hans' will !! :)) cause he didn't fancy much that whole Hollywood business. He is home in Switzerland doing his own projects, but also touring with Hans...Atli Örvarsson, Heitor Pereira, Guillaume Roussel and Nathan Stornetta ?Marc left RCP in like... 2003 ? lol<br><br><br>And yes he is, check his page, he just doesn't have much going on anyway.But Marc is no longer with RCP I am assuming. His scores are not advertised here.If the Snyder Cut comes out, who's ready to hear Junkie XL score Godzilla vs. Kong?

Tom's more recent work has received more love, but I personally love the Fury Road and Rise of an Empire type soundtrack more. I'm looking forward to this and I hope it's close to what Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice sounded like. Although, the snippet he shared doesn't really sound like it. We'll see.That´s why I asked myself, why dont they ever re-unite like before, so yea, they sometimes doInterestingly, Aljoscha is collaborating a lot with 2WEI these days. <br>You gotta realize being an additional composer is not exactly an easy thing. Some jump ship after a few years or have other aspirations, try to work solo and so on.

<br>Vörlander worked for Junkie from 2010 to 2015, then started his own business of writing for commercials, trailers etc. (it's called 2WEI, in Germany) He even did keep working on some trailers for JXL's scores after that, or helped on FIFA 17. Junkie had Aljoscha Christenhuß who worked for him from 2015 to 2018. Then Antonio jointed in 2016, Sara Barone joined more recently last year.

<br>Thomas is doing his own thing too, he founded Chromium Music and is doing some solo projects now.

<br>Jasha, after working for Lorne & Hans, "transfered" to Bleeding Fingers but after a while left to focus on his own solo career too.

@Hybrid, I was always wondering, what happened to composers like Thomas Farnon, Jasha Klebe or Christian Vorlander - why are they not working with Lorne/Junkie anymore? Did they get fired or did they just move on? I find it weird, that Lorne/Rupert/Junkie/Etc would fire their additional composers after all those years of collaboration.The theme he was supposed to write but didn't ? :D lol<br><br>Well don't take word for word what he says. He's being general, the interview was for Forbes afterall.<br><br>Just take the extract we got, it had a quote from BvS that had nothing to do with either Superman or Wonder Woman... lol*forgot to mentioned"Besides the Man of Steel theme for Superman and the theme for Wonder Woman, which I have given a new spin, all the other themes for this movie are brand new,”<br><br>I hope Tom just forget to mention about Batman's theme and will reuse it too, because if he don't, then what's the point of it?Junkie's score for GvK is probably going to be better than his score for Justice League if he is that interested in doing a score for a godzilla movie.

I was whistling the the theme heard in "The Prince of Persia." It's actually kind of catchy! Even if it resembles "Kingdom of Heaven," there is a certain style which composers tend towards when writing for this kind of setting.

There's memorable theme for me :) Second theme in Prince Of Persia, beginning This is No Ordinary Dagger, or ending Raid on Alamut. Very catchy, and impressive in its simplicity. I like how HGW used Tillman. The same way as in Narnia - staccato rhytms in the background

i agree.

it's a little generic in places, but for a bruckheimer production, this is far better than a heck of a lot of other RC scores released of late.

i'm still utterly shocked there are woodwinds in the score! even more so than pirates 3!!!!!!

By filtered drums I mean drums that are filtered.... A Filter being a 'pass' that stops certain frequencies, resulting in various sound modulations. For example you could cut out the 4k range, or the 2k range, meaning you're stopping or reducing any requencies in that range. It's sort of like an eq. Thats how he gets that different sounding electronic percussion. It's he by the way :)

The track names situation is weird...all the American sites still have the original titles. Could there be different titles for the U.S. and U.K. editions?

Given that Amazon UK has track samples and running time while Amazon US does not, I guess the UK details are the ones we are likely to see.

My only regret is that he keeps using filtered drums... particularly in scores that are set 1000's of years before the filter was invented lol... I mean i know sometimes you have to sacrifice accuracy for effectiveness, but something just feels wrong about it IMO. Otherwise one of his better scores by the previews. Coming from someone whose not a big HGW fan; I liked his work with Powell though...

The track lengths are finally listed, at Amazon UK. From my rough estimation, the score portion runs about 56 min. Don't count my not-so-good math skills though! :D

Weird Disney put the money for both a physical CD and 60 min of score...

HGW finished the score in late 2009, I guess there was enough time to negociate a proper thing... Or maybe Disney just likes HGW (Narnia 2 had a similar release)... :P

Possibly the two Narnia scores sold well enough to convince Disney that HGW scores were popular enough to warrant good releases like this. I do hope the trend follows!

Why don't you listen to a different composer's music then? Stop saying rude things about people who ARE VERY good at their job! If you are not aware of this, almost all film composers use the same cues and themes in all of their scores. That's what makes it a Harry Gregson-Williams score...a Hans Zimmer score...John Powell....Klaus Badelt....etc. Appreciate the new music and enjoy the variations on old music. You have a right to your own opinion, but try to be respectful at the same time.

I just expect that every film has it's own theme. Track "Prince of Persia" is a copy of KoH. #4 - Sindbad. You can't hear that?

I'm tired of copy of a copy. They ran out of ideas? Stop composing and find another job.

Whoever you are, I think that your response was very well thought out and sensible. It is, of course, always a pleasant surprise when a film score has a symphonic quality to it, like Klaus Badelt's "The Promise," but as you say, that's probably not what they were aiming for here.

Maybe Harry isnt interested in "themes" but rather effective music for the film. You try to reference him to Horner, yet Harry Doesnt copy other composers (classical or film) like horner clearly has. So please stop putting him up next to horner. Nevertheless, I still love horner anyway. I am very confident that the producers have an expectation, especially since its a Bruckheimer film, they want the sound to be a certain way. I am sure HGW has to comply in some regard. It is a job after all. From what I heard of this score, I hear fun, entertaining music, that will have more than one listen on my mp3 player. I am sure thats all Harry was trying to do. Not write a major symphony. Its prince of persia!
