“natural tendency to put light on the role of others” hahahah...I'm sure he felt very foolish two years ago.Ask Hybrid@pegasus yes, 10 years later :-)Tom Holkenborg and David Buckley ?
Also Heitor Pereira, Guillaume Roussel, John Powell, Steve Jablonsky, HGW, Atli Örvarsson no ?Neely is no longer with HansTrevor said in a recent interview, that he scored Renny Harlins new movie The Misfits. Im really looking forward to this movie and score. Loved every Harlin/Rabin collaboration so far.Need some page for the new "Greyhound" film scored by Blakeu ask "is it from the sessions?" and you know thats rips whith sfx? :D hahah. made my day
I think we were all clear that both Snyder and Tom intended to use material from Hans. I don’t think he’s writing new music, but I do think Tom will use a lot of Hans.Is it true that Hans Zimmer is working on the Snyder Cut? That would be spectacular!Lol it’s probably low quality rips from the filmwhaaat? the complete score?? where??where did you find it? what is it called on youtube?
i found a complete album on YouTube, but the audio quality is not good as I thought. Is it from the recording session? Where can I find a high quality audio of this album to listen?just going to leave this here: el matador del mar, a great character, killed so easily because sparrow needed to be the great hero.

i disapprove, long life salazar!!What is the name of the song playing when Maggie leaves it’s beautiful and haunting. The music from this movie is sheer genius a mix of heavy metal, jazz, and rock and roll! Awesome...!Yes! Finally someone else who has heard it to! I am a HUGE fan of both trilogy's, do you like POTC?R.I.P. to Ennio Morricone, dead at 91.

For those who aren’t as familiar with his material, check out Once Upon a Time in the West, easily one of the greatest scores of the past century. You can definitely hear where Zimmer took inspiration from, for Pirates/Lone Ranger/Sherlock/Rango/etc.

“Parlay” is such a love letter to the main tune from OUATITW...

I too am a bit skeptical as to whether Marc will deliver or not on this score. The Robin Hood story has always been my favorite of all time. When I was little I would watch the old 30s Errol Flynn version and was enamored by the story and fell in love with the Robin Hood legend. And now one of my favorite directors and favorite actors is reliving the legend in a movie that should not disappoint. The only thing that would make movie better and even more hyped would be a score coming from Hans himself. I have never been that impressed by the scores that come from Marc, though I'm hoping/praying that this is his breakout score. It could be. This could be the one project where he really delivers and proves critics (like me, lol) wrong. And in this case I would not be disappointed at being proven wrong.

Perhaps all Marc needed was a chance to diversify, score-wise. Waiting to see what he comes up with!

dont forget that the score have to fit the movie. The score have to fit every singel frame of the movie and the director also decide what the scroe should sound like to fit his movie

Lasse is right. If a director wants a typical RCP-score, he gets one. If the director wants a ''safer'' score like everyone said about Clash, he'll get one.

The director is the boss, NOT the listener, nor the composer!!

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2010-04-05 00:00:00
I understand that, but surely the composer is allowed some creative license within the parameters set by the director?

Pretty sure the CD will be more than 30 min long (I'm betting around 50), but I'm more concerned about what the music itself is gonna be like! I'd have been ecstatic to hear HGW or Hans handle this one, and I really hope Marc gives it a befitting, enjoyable score.

I hope he can make a different from his previous works, just like Ramin Djawadi's Clash of the Titans or Geoff Zanelli's Outlander

I think Marc's music is very interesting and he was a great choice for Robin Hood. I hope the score CD is more that 30 minutes long.

Honestly... I don't expect something memorable. Any other RCP composer would handle this project better than Marc
