Agree!!!!! Please organize a concert in Budapest again! The 2017 live concert and this year's World of HZ concert was totally full house in Budapest!thank you, I appreciate that:) I should say that I am inspired by the music of the 90's, I started producing music on a cheap 200$ Yamaha between 1998-2000, and thanks to a few projects I worked on was able to purchase A more high end synthesizer. Right now I kind of just make music as a hobby but hopefully one day could compose A score for A Movie or even A video Game, that would be pretty cool. I'll be adding more tracks as well for this particular project. The next track I am planning will be a more orchestral reprise of the Miami Heat track I uploaded. I'm trying to get better at themes which is an area that I'm trying to improve on.Damn Powell is doing a lot of music on his own now a days with not many additional writers. I hope he takes on more project that aren’t just animated. I really miss his music, he’s so ridiculously talented.And even then, people rate before listening to it...The version on this page is actually sound effects-free!
Sehr Geehrter Herr Zimmer, du hast viele Fans in Polen. Lassen Sie es uns wissen, wenn Sie nach Polen kommen. Wir haben mehrere Orte, an denen Sie Ihre Arbeit präsentieren können. Sie sind hier herzlich willkommen.
-------------------------
Dear Mr. Zimmer, you have many fans in Poland. Let us know when you come to Poland. We have several places where you can present your work. You are very welcome here.Credits added !All sounds really good!
Tracks 1, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 16, 19 are wonderful.Macejko: i do tooI for one believe they should not allow user ratings until the album has been released.
I really like it! It's like a HTTYD with a twang to it.I do. And other collectors too. LOL.Felix: some people buy CD-s yet nowadays, some people thinks, if a music is a masterpiece in it's own, then they can appreciate the composer's work with some money, even that money going to the publisherWho needs CDs?? LoLAs far as I know, no.

Sadly.

I would love to get my hands on a "clean" version. Love the score!
Well ok, but how to get the song itself on physical cd, if its not on this soundtrack. There is now official Single CD yet for the Song ... :/Are there any versions that movie sound effects, such as car noise, have disappeared?I really hope that for the inevitable sequel they dump the songs and focus a bit more on the actual score. I listened to the album again and there's definitely a lot that they can expand upon.

Mike Bay (through his movies) is one of the "founders" of the MV/RC sound so it sucks to see him relying on so much freakin' songs nowadays. And it's not only him.....

That's why themes have disappeared. Composers just don't have the chance to create more. And I'm sure it's frustrating for them to deal with all of this. So don't blame ONLY the composer when a score doesn't feel satisfying enough. God knows how many other people have a say in all of this...Bay should work with Jerry Bruckheimer again.
================

That is something a lot of people are hoping for :)

The days of The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor and Bad Boys 2 were awesome. You saw trailers that simply said "From Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer" and audiences knew exactly what they gonna get. Those were some very exciting days.

I don't think we will see another Armageddon-sized reunion of Michael and Jerry but hey......at least we have their previous movies to enjoy. I'm grateful for that :)

P.S. Armageddon NEEDS to be re-released in IMAX 3D. It's the perfect movie for this format.doesn't look like it but per the announcement on 007.com an 'epic sweeping instrumental orchestral version' of it will be

When I just first listen to JNH's music, it doesn't fit for my taste of the music but now, I really like his music. :3

Undeserved but anyway amazing score by James Newton Howard, this is simply a masterpiece, scores like this are what do than James be a respected composer, the only one (and biggest defect is the movie, that is horrible)

Didn't James do The Fugitive (with Harrison Ford)?

Russel2013-12-29 00:34:20
Yes, according to the Internet Movie Data Base he composed the music to the film 'The Fugitive' with Harrison Ford in it.

MacArthur2013-12-29 01:36:19
Funny that some of his stuff isn't on here.

Russel2013-12-29 03:45:05
Why? He is not really part of RCP as far as I know. He only really helped out with the Dark Knight Trilogy. Pretty sure he has his own studio, named after him..? (Saw in the Hunger Games 2 End Credits)

MacArthur2013-12-29 04:43:23
Ok I just find it odd that some are listed and others aren't

Russel2013-12-29 05:19:31
Yeah, I guess. Me too.

Is James Newton Howard no more part of Remote Control?

His latest albums aren't mentionned here...

tomPoland2012-03-16 12:24:57
He was never part of RC, he just worked with them several times.

He's way better than any of HZ minions.

If the Oscar is fair enough (which they normally don't be because they mostly choose the score from the films which are nominated), this score should be nominated!

THE BEST SOUNDTRACK IN THE WORLD (for me, of course).

And I agree with TomPoland... I really hope this soundtrack gets an Oscar ^_^

Oscar 2011? I really hope so. Howard deserves it.

PS Waiting for a 'choir' bootleg:)

This composer is great, and this score is magic. We love your music, James!!!

Miles reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-21 00:00:00
Actually, this score does have choir. It's just not utilized to a great extent.

That said, I think this is an excellent piece of work. JNH does it again!

Ravi Krishna reply Replies: 0 || 2010-06-21 00:00:00
Even without the choir (shame!), this is one amazing score. I'm seriously addicted to the kickass Japanese percussion sequences and exciting orchestral action music!
