I feel like the only way I could be excited about this would be if they adopted the sound of M:I-2, which I find very unlikely. Primarily because the sound is very dated, but also because Fallout is likely to be a more serious movie than II ever will be. Still, I'm cautiously optimistic, especially if it was true that he did the trailer music.<br><br>And it was Rogue Nation that Kraemer worked on, not Ghost Protocol.It's sort of been implied here before that Lorne Balfe worked on the "Bumblebee" suite... Is that correct (as far as anybody knows, at least)?Both scores are absolutely masterpieces, personally I prefer the second one. Outstanding. <br>This story deserves a perfect close also musically.I think we may be surprised with this one, guys. Tom Cruise and JJ Abrams both are into melodic sounding scores, amd when Lorne is allowed to go all out melodic on us he creates perfection (ie: LEGO Batman, Home, parts of Geostorm, his contributions to kung fu panda and Sherlock)... I do hope he has somewhat of a throwback sound from it, but I also want that signature RCP sound too! Not gonna lie this is good news for me.I'm sure the Balfe brigade will still find some way to tar and feather me for this, but I think he could do a decent job here. After all, you can't just write a generic action score for Mission Impossible. It has to have that throwback espionage feel, the suaveness, the sense of cool, and I think Balfe will do okay with that - look at Penguins of Madagascar. I just hope he gets to use a real orchestra for once (no excuse not to on a film of this type and size), and that he doesn't ignore Lalo Schifrin's theme.<br><br>I'd still rather have had Kraemer back considering the excellent job he did on Ghost Protocol (and the fact he never gets any assignments otherwise) but Balfe could do well here.

There's a video on YouTube. The video shows Howard Shore writing and conducting the music for the orchestra. The video also shows Howard Shore and Peter Jackson talking about the score. After that, Peter Jackson rejected the score writing one statement about that saying Howard and he discuss about the music many times, Howard recorded many cues but in the process Peter he wasn´t satisfied about the music. That thing created many discussions, they could not agree in terms of music so Peter fired Howard after that saying he prefered keep Howard as a friend. And then the hobbit came and the rest, well, the relation was not the same. <br><br>So there's like 50 to 70% percent of the music recorded by Howard Shore. He didn't finish the recordings, so, yes, there's a rejected score recorded. And then, James came aboard.Of course he's involved !Finally some news about this movie! I really hope Powell is involved because his scores for the first two moves are fantastic. I love them so much.Well "Prime" for TF2 is part of the main theme "Knights March" from King Arthur which Jablonsky co-composed so I really don't have a problem with a lot of the temps from King Arthur in Transformers. Specifically because Jablonsky did a lot of the main tracks for that score.Yeah, specially the "Prime" track from Transformers 2
Some of Transformers was temped from King Arthur.Thank you :D<br>indeed, Bumblebee has the same vibe with the orchestral and guitar sound, and I guess GoT was temp tooI was at a test screening for RUSH (sitting directly behind Ron Howard and Hans himself!) - and the entire film was heavily temped with Transformers. Specifically "Bumblebee", which opened and closed the film in a very powerful way. Heard it again & again. I still didn't like it.
Definitely no HGW/Tony scott style...its more like' i am still waiting to hear a good theme".
Had a great expectation with these two teaming up. Disappointed.
