mpolonest123 I’m glad I’m not the only one who enjoys Jurassic World. It think it pays great tribute to John Williams’ groundbreaking work for the JP franchise, but it also had many exciting and creative motifs that made the score stand out in my mind.As for Pan, I initially wasn’t impressed at all with the music. It took about a year for it to sink in and let me fall in love with the themes.@mrzimmerfan<br>Yeah, I definitely disagree. When I was watching Rogue One in theaters I kept getting taken out of the film because of the music, which isn’t something that I normally pay attention to when I watch movies. <br><br>And I know it gets criticized a lot, but I honestly love Jurassic World. The flat recording sound aside, I think it’s an intelligent score that does something new the franchise material while still paying tribute. Even Homecoming has grown on me, particularly Vulture’s theme.@Ds: i'm not a big fan for Pan, i liked the score, but Powell have MUUUCH better action/fantasy scores."Pan" was also a replacement score, and look at the marvelous Powell score we got... However I don't know how long he had to score it. Certainly a bit more time than what Giacchino got for Rogue One.
The action music is flat in Rogue One?, agree if the score isn't as good as Jupiter Ascending, for example, but the action music is BETTER than Spider-Man or Jurassic World.<br><br>IMHOAlso new Harry Gregson-Williams score out today! Breath. To be fair, Giacchino didn’t have much time to work on Rogue One, which explains why certain portions (coughactionmusiccough) fell flat. It’s not a bad score at all, but yeah, John Powell is above and beyond a better composer. His recordings have life and energy, and while most of it still sounds like Powell, he is able to switch into Williams mode so easily.<br><br>In defense of Giacchino though, just go listen to Jupiter Ascending if you want a score on the same level as this. The action music is phenomenal, there are at least a dozen solid themes, and the recording doesn’t seem as flat as some of his other scores.I think Powell found his niche with this score...<br>Because he's WAY better at apeing Williams than Giacchino could ever be, and with way more energy....<br><br>And here Giacchino prides his work on Williams from his origins in video game music... <br><br>This blows Giacchino out of the ocean and into the moon. This surprises me, as I expected Giacchino to have such huge hard-on for Williams.
Yeah, 30-ish seconds into Do You Bleed?"Reminiscent Therapy" is amazing in the way it incorporates a lot of Williams' classic stuff making it feel very natural and organic, like it's part Powell's themes, like he does with "The Adentures of Han".<br><br>This is a really great scoreHe is the chosen one, the one who will bring balance to the film music world...Thats just 'do you bleed?' with a small insert?Haha, It's as the prophecy foretold.
John Powell, the great uniter of film music fans@MrZimmerFan<br><br>I actually like Rogue One, and I do understand why it leans so heavily on the original themes. Here the themes are incorporated more as fan service, but Powell is able to do wonders with interpolating them with his material. <br><br>And something I forgot to mention, this score reminds me so much of Pan in the action sequences. The percussion and brass writing is great lolim surprised how Powell uses his ANTZ percussion in this!<br><br>The track Train Heist, Into The Maw is good example of it.<br><br>This is the only score that will please the gang at JW and HZ alike. When JWFan and HZ.com are discussing the same score....'but not as heavily as Rogue One'<br><br>Because Rogue One have conections with certain aspects or characters from the OT?<br><br>An here you have a track with three themes (or cues) with no conections with the OT, Rogue One have more sense... but the score is fricking awesome :)

Hans Zimmer.

Hey there.. Your music score is really good, I liked them all. I wanna know within how many days after your submission, were your tracks posted over here?

NotaPix2018-04-24 17:41:37
hello Piyush VC
sorry, I hope I have correctly understood your question, I do not know English (google translator).
I do not remember well how long my covers have been published here after my submission.
but if you would like to publish your own cover of the composer Hans Zimmer here, it is more correct that you address the questions of this type to 'antas' admin.
as I said, I hope my answer is relevant to your question.
bye :)

Thank You NotaPix. That was really helpful. :)

Hello Hans, my name is Lilya, I'm from Russia, and I'm a fan of your creativity. If you have free time, please listen to my music, but only there is a demo version, because I'm afraid that my music can be stolen. If you are interested, I can completely throw the tracks on your mail or wherever you say. I apologize for this translation, because it translated to Google translator. Thank you very much for your attention and your precious time! Personally for me - you are the coolest composer!

Hello Hans Zimmer fans! I very glad to share you with some of my works:
1. Mole: Escape - tribute to Dunkirk. I tried to recreate the stuff, tension atmosphere and some motifs from the first half of the film. Track has nervous strings play in shepard tone with dynamic tempo, that rises and rises with the ticking and heartbeat.

LINK: https://soundcloud.com/soundborne_n1/mole-escape-tribute-to- dunkirk
LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYiOn-06Unk

2. LIMBO - "TIME" Variation. LIMBO IS VERY CLOSE RECREATION OF INCEPTION'S MAIN THEME - TIME. I TRIED TO GET VERY IDENTICAL SOUND LIKE IN
ORIGINAL SCORE - RESONATING, PULSING, BREATHING and VIBING. IN CREATION I USED DARK ZEBRA presets (little-bit modified Forlorn and Ringmod Pulser patch, because Mr. Zimmer is using custom version of synth - Zebra HZ) for U-HE ZEBRA 2 SYNTH. "BREATHING" ORCHESTRA SOUND is CineOrch Low patch library. For piano parts I used great, for my opinion, Soundiron's Emotional Piano (Soft Piano patch). Drums part is modified Titan Drums from Drums of War library. Guitar part created with mixed combination of different vst guitars and own custom guitar-like preset for U-he Zebra 2. In mastering I used one EQ and Compressor. Happy listening!!!

For those who want to make their own Hans Zimmer-style covers, but don't have money to spend out on expensive sound libraries, I'd highly recommend looking into Soundsonline's ComposerCloud subscription service. It has practically everything you could want, even including heavy percussion like that used in Zimmer's 90s scores and in Lorne Balfe's Terminator Genisys. And it's not expensive: you can go for a monthly plan that gets you 9000+ instrument patches for as little as $29.99. I'm on the ComposerCloudX scheme and that is even better because it has close mic recordings for some of the included sets.

Dear Hans Zimmer friends,

Thank you for receiving this message.
I will give the World for you to kindly submit my message to Hans himself.
Thank you

I attended your Hans Zimmer Live concert tonight in London.
I saw you living my vision (life achievement and my purpose) and will be thrilled to feature on your music/ create music with you.

I am an exceptionally ambitious, driven & committed 25 years of age musician, having last year taken flights to Las Vegas and previously around the World (to meet and perform for audiences and people who show a keen interest in my career)

However, I know, in my heart, that I am here to give much more to a greater, wider range of groups. People who deserve to know and experience the same sense which you provide with your music. I also feel very connected to you by the way in which you communicate this message in your delivery and words on stage. I have never seen anything as superbly brilliant in my life. Nor imagined it. Well done and thank you.
In addition, I felt that your donation of proceeds from the show was a beautiful, a selfless personal token of generosity, which every one of the thousands of people at the concert (and I'm sure many more) deeply respected.
I too am sharing this message with the World, it is my dream to do so on a scale like you do. As you may see from my personal message videos: https://youtu.be/CSI60fv0pT0
(I also speak German, my strong favourite among six languages!)

I have a website where you can find out a little more about me, what people say and explore my social media.
However first, perhaps you may be most interested listen to which demos of my voice I have on SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/gemmalouisedoyle
MySpace website is www.gemma-doyle.com and you should also see my other links within the email signature.

It could change more lives, to have me sing your unbelievable incredible & outstanding music.
One of my favourite masterpieces of yours is of course the theme from my all time favourite movie Gladiator.

Your music touches and moves all people, in ways which are incomparable.

Should you happen to find me, and have any interest to hear or meet me, kindly get in touch.
I will be eternally invigorated and grateful to speak with/hear from you.

Thank you,
One of your forever true allies (whether known by yourself or not)

Didn't know where else to post this but here goes....

Just finished with the Hans Zimmer Masterclass and have to say that it is truly worth it for anyone who

a.) Want to start a career in film scoring
and/or
b.) Loves Hans Zimmer and wants to really see a candid look into his writing process and thought style going into any project.

This really is one of the most informative types of classes which give you an "outside-the-box" approach. Props to Junkie Xl for his Studio time series as well!!!

And what I really want to know; if Zimmer ever plans to release a collection of his "diaries" lol :D

Dear Hanz , since I was 9yrs old I knew what my calling was !!
And surprisingly the film music I write is in the same mode ,vibe .. The feeling on which chord I do and which sound and how softy or hard you okay the song ... It all comes down to emotion !!!

You were my hero , well still is !

How can I send my work to you ?? I live in South Adrica ... It's . Everything is an effort to try and make contact !! While your dream is on a train and its busy getting away without you ... That's how I feel here in South Africa .. My hands are cut off and my calling and dream ... I can't just give up I can't !!! I was born to do this !!!! And By God I will try my best to succeed !!!

Thank you For sharing your talent to the world *

Dear Hans.

Thank you so much for your inspiring links on YouTube about your Master Class. Despite the amount of disparaging and scathing comments from some people, I think your comments about setting composers free to create new life shattering music at the drop of a hat with computers, I phones is definitely the way forward. You have proved this yourself with your career and inspiring music. Yes, you have to break the rules and splosh new ideas manuscript paper through the computer so that you can say new things.

The rules are only necessary for the young student to get into professional music and start writing. Once you are there, you must set them aside so that you can create something new. After all that is what Bach and Mozart did like Stravinsky after them because there are new things to be said musically. But all ideas, be it a film school, a symphony or even a simple song, classical or pop, come about through a story. You must have a story, something to tell, to inspire the composer to make music.

There is just one thing which I personally have never found out of and that is how does one get into the film/music world? I was at the London film school earlier. They taught me many things but not how to get into the profession. Frequently one has asked what films or TV programmes have you written music for before? Without having anything concrete to refer too one is automatically bypassed. In other words you have to have a proven track record before you can get into the profession.

If you have any ideas about this Hans, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you.

Best of luck with your next film project.

Sincerely,

I'm hoping it's ina Format I'm able to save and watch at a later stage. Is this true? Thanks for your assistance and look forward to hearing from you.
