"You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these… these civilized people, they'll eat each other."
Well, the Nazis were nothing special, if you ask me. Genocides happened more frequently than most people are aware of. The Turks did it with the Armenians which Turkish conservatives are still denying today. The Hutu did it with the Tutsi and both were as cruel, random and cold as the Nazis. And there are of course many more names to call. Maybe the only difference is we Germans had a "Vergangenheitsbewältigung" which means we were dealing with our own past and did not just repress it like the Turks for example. Actually we're still dealing with it in form of documentaries like this one.
Well not everyone in the human race condoned this or engaged in the type of pure evil that Hitler and the Nazi's inflicted. They killed over 20 million innocent people including Jews, Poles, children, elderly, disabled and gays. The Americans alone lost nearly a half-million soldiers in WW2 helping to defeating this evil. There are still good people and many good nations in this world. I fear the rise of the radical Islamic extremists and their hate and intolerance towards anyone who is not Muslim is going to result in the next Hitler-like cult emerging soon. Never again.

Watching this reminds me again how disgusting the human race is. Wonder if there is maybe another race in the universe which can beat us humans in cruelty… would be a tough task.
