It’s now official : Batman will meet Superman in Man Of Steel 2 released for the summer 2015.
Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. made use of the Comic-Con 2013 to announce a project that excites already fans of the DC Comics universe: the encounter between Batman and Superman on the big screen.
Fans gathered in San Diego in Hall H of Comic-Con 2013 do not expected as much. A Man of Steel 2, no doubt. A Justice League, maybe. But clearly not a feature confronting for the first time Batman and Superman !
In two years, The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel will cross (and face) in a sequel of Man of Steel, which is already one of the most anticipated movies of the summer 2015. Zack Snyder signs up behind the camera and screenplay (with David S. Goyer), while Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Kal-El) will regain the mantle of the hero, surrounded by Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. The “new Batman” has yet to be chosen by the director and Warner Bros., knowing that this film (yet untitled) should serve as a springboard for a reboot of the adventures of Batman and of the Justice League project. There is someone who was involved in the last two superheroes franchise and has great chances to be involved in this next project ; guess who…

With the same director I guess it's just assumed to be very likely that Zimmer is scoring, but it hasn't been confirmed. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't, though.
I thought this was saying that Zimmer was scoring MoS 2.
