As a composer, my mind is stuck on some sequences and melodies that I always play; mostly, withought realizing it. Eventhough I know all the diffrent keys and scales, and rhytems, my mind still drags to centain kings of music. It is the nature of a composer.
And for the repetitions and same style of music done so by most movie composers, I personally think that is is a good thing. All the directors for the movies know what kind of music they want, thus they pick a composer that they know will complements the movie with their style. Just imagine if you had John Williams or Clint Mansell kind of music for Pirates of the C. And imagine Hans Zimmer kind of music for Star Wards….IT DOES NOT WORK!!!
Brilliant!
