What’s this sample from Led Zeppelin’s "Kashmir" all about?
Can you tell us a bit more please?
I wonder why Mr. Zimmer would barrow a sample from Led Zeppelin’s "Kashmir"
And not give proper credit.
Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers- and it’s scores like these that reminds me of that fact.
His percussion is always perfectly laid out, as it was in the Kraken. I can understand the amount of difficulty must have gone into making a second score that would be reminiscent of Pirates 1, but also be a different musical experience altogether. I think he did an excellent job.
The organ was a fantastic move! It was almost reminiscent of the dark, brooding lurkiness of Batman Begins (although I know he didn’t use hardly any organ in Begins, Davey Jones’s theme just reminds me of that. It has the same ‘feel’).
The only thing that tries to drag this score sown to the depths is the tiesto remix. other than that faultless. *****
I couldn’t get the page to come up but when watching Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2, the music was totally awesome.
Music was ok!!! didn’t really keep me awake for the whole movie but I think the organ piece was a new challenge for Hans and of course he had to use themes from the first episode, which himself had to reproduce with badelt. Overall Hans’s music was much better in his previous score of Da Vinci Code.
I can only say that "Jack Sparrow" piece is amazing !!!!!!! Just like the whole soundtrack !!!!
Hans Zimmer is the best once again !!!!!!
I don’t know the other people’s opinion but mine is that mr. Zimmer put a new era in film music … With his scores he did something that has never been heard before in music … it’s just Hans Zimmer .. and it’s divine !!! As a musician I can say just these words, the other side of listening to Zimmer’s music is FEELING INCREDIBLE FEELINGS !!!! THE BEST OF ALL !!! KEEP IT UP !!!

Hans is known for his Sample Library and was wondering If the score was recorded with any or the great Symphony Libraries???
I wonder why no1 wrote any comment about the
" Da Vinci Code" ?????
Oh well… I guess when hans’s music is perfect no1 wants to talk about it…:))
