As you may have noticed, the website could not be maintained over the past 18 months, mostly due to technical issues. But after a few months of hard work we’re pleased to show the brand new version of the site for its 25th anniversary. Catching up is a long process but we could at least bring up to date our dear Hans Zimmer’s career. Others will follow. Feel free to give us any feedback or ideas, and we hope you enjoy it !

Love the new design! 🎉 🙌 This is perfect 😊
Such a joy to see the site back, and the new design is looking great.
One thing I’m hoping is that the track/composer breakdowns will return as I don’t see them at present … unless I’m missing something obvious. So that would be my number one vote for feature to be added!
They’re still here ! On the project pages & albums, click on “Tracklist” so they appear.
Nice! I managed to miss that option, even though it was staring me in the face
Quel plaisir de retrouver le site avec toutes ses informations et ses news. Félicitations à toute l’équipe pour cette remise à l’eau.
It’s great to see the website back online.
I truly hope you’ll keep it updated, as it used to be one of the websites I visited daily. I always enjoyed checking the news there and exchanging thoughts with other visitors. I’m curious to see how the discussions will develop again.
The overall design looks very good, and you can clearly tell how much effort and work you’ve put into it. I especially like the way the colors change when navigating through the different sections of the website.
I do have one point of constructive feedback regarding the background. For me personally, it’s quite straining on the eyes. Even though the content areas are blurred, reading the text still feels difficult, and my eyes get tired rather quickly.
I’m also not entirely sure about the very dark, almost horror-themed style. With elements like skulls and some rather unsettling and visuals, it sometimes feels a bit like Halloween all year round. While I understand the intention of referencing Mr. Zimmer’s composing room, this particular design direction feels a bit too dark, too frightening and intimidating to me, and not something I naturally associate with his composing style.
Please don’t take this as harsh criticism, it’s meant purely as constructive feedback. Other than that, I’m genuinely very happy to see the website back and I’m looking forward to visiting it more often again, hopefully even multiple times a day like before :)
Thank you very much for all the hard work you’ve put into this. I’m looking forward to future updates, content, and discussions. Congratulations on the relaunch, and welcome back!
Regarding the overall design, the main idea is that this site should indeed be a direct extension of Hans’s universe, and more specifically of his studio, with the Victorian style he is so fond of.
However, it should be kept in mind that the site is now very much alive, and that its appearance will continue to evolve throughout its lifetime :)
