Well, I don’t think so. Game composing can sometimes be more challenging than film composing because it’s a very interactive medium and a composer can’t predict what will happen next on the screen – in opposite to a film. A game composer has to take that into account. Furthermore today’s game music plays an important role and the budgets sometimes may even be higher than for film music. Game music for top games is recorded in top studios, with real orchestras. Both, games and game music play a serious part in the entertainment industry nowadays. It’s at least as important as scoring for films. Finally HZ proves that he’s open-minded and … most likely well paid for this job. ;)
