And what's the problem with his stuff now…It's just your preference so let it be.
Well of course YOU do.
I think he's doing fine.
Amazing to think that that synth clarinet from 1989 sounds so much better and more lifelike than Zimmer's synth brass from 2013. You really have to wonder whether the man hasn't taken a wrong turn somewhere.
It does. Listen closely. :)
God, did you notice the Youtube video they linked to the Inception part of the article? f*cking MIND HEIST!!
Driving Miss Daisy is "100% electronic"? Didn't see this coming. Really surprised by this. How come it doesn't sound electronic at all?
Loved what he said about the Lion King:
“At first, I didn't want to do Lion King, because I don't really like Broadway musicals,” he says. “I thought that's what Disney wanted from me, but they kept saying, 'No, no, no, we REALLY LIKE that you don't like Broadway musicals. We want this to be different.'”
Same! He's taken to calling it "The Forbidden Cue", and said if you use it, he won't see your movie. lol.
The last paragraph of the Thin Red Line story totally cracked me up!
