It's funny how, even though Lorne is not really working with Hans now, he's still most peoples' go-to example when they need to mention a ghostwriter from RCP. How many years did Lorne work with him? I know 2012/2013 was the end of their constant collaborations, but I'm hazy about the beginning. Was it Batman Begins in 2005?
Btw judging by Elysium, it seems that Neil Blomkamp likes the loud, "braaaaaaaam" side of Hans. I wonder if we're going to get some of it, or if they'll choose to go a different route.
What I'd very much like is a soft piano/synth-driven score, it's what I feel for this movie. But Hans will surprise us, as usual, and I already know I'll love it!
Yeah hopefully he does more than the main title theme and just leave the rest for Lorne or whoever. This movie actually seems good and I don't want to see it get half-assed. Thankfully Lorne is pretty damn good at his job and I haven't been disappointed in any of his work but you get the point.
This is a big surprise, thinking Neil will re-team with Clinton Shorter or Ryan Amon. It's unexpected. The trailer looks amazing, now we hope Mr. Zimmer can deliver an amazing score.
Begins indeed.
Though he technically worked on King Arthur doing some programming, but that was for RGW… :P

Good to hear that, Hybrid!

Except Lorne doesn't work with Hans much anymore, he has enough to handle himself…
And Hans is deeply into Chappie… ;)

New Hans in less than 2 months! Yeah!
I hope @Ds, because the films from Neil has a special touch of heart. And we now Mr. Zimmer has a special touch composing this kind of music.
Scorefan, we all perfectly know he can! :-)

I'll be looking forward to this…Looks like a different type of project for Hans. :)
