On 2008, the composer will score MADAGASCAR 2(us movie release on 2008, november the 7th.), Ron Howard‘s FROST/NIXON, and will compose for the Christopher NOLAN‘s THE DARK KNIGHT.

Hans Zimmer also mentioned at the Composer Expo in LA that he will probably also score Ron Howard‘s Da Vinci Code sequel Angels & Demons.
I don’t think Ron Howard won’t forget about James Horner at all. James was suppose to do da vinci code but he was interested in the new world and also he was suppose to do frost/nixon for Ron but, he decided to choose the boy in the striped pajamas.
what happen to the relationship of hans zimmer and ridley scott? It’s already five years since the two did matchstick men.

very cool. but i agree. it needs to be all zimmer. he did all of The Da Vinci Code and Chevaliers De Sangreal came out. Its too bad he wont be submitting any of the music tho as he does wonderful work. Your n more than an oscar winner to us Zimmer!

I love this news! If Mr. Zimmer wants to score all these films, then we will be better off in the long run. I hope he NEVER goes away! EVER! Without him and his team our movies would lack very much emotion. I heard Mr. Zimmer was going to "tour", and perform his music live in concert, anyone know if this is true and still going to happen? I’ll pay whatever. Long live Hans Zimmer!!!
I’ll tell you what happened, Zimmer scored Da Vinci and it was totally awesome! Why would Howard switch away from the man who wrote Chevaliers de Sangreal?!?!?!
