Presenting the original motion picture score to the 20th Century Fox feature film HITMAN, opening in theaters everywhere throughout North American on November 21, 2007. Based on the worldwide hit video game of the same name, HITMAN is a slam-bang, blockbuster action feature starring Timothy Olyphant (LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, DEADWOOD). The acclaimed composer of the thriller DISTURBIA, Geoff Zanelli, captures all of HITMAN’S excitement with a phenomenal, powerhouse score that chronicles the action-packed saga of Agent 47 (Olyphant), who is ensnared in a deadly political conspiracy. Fox will back the film with an aggressive, national TV/Print/Internet/Theater ad campaign. Mention of soundtrack score CD will be included in print ads for the film.

Thanks!,
I am agree
I am agree
Jesper had make a marvelous hitman’s games soundtrack (I’m a very Fan !), Is not good he don’t work with Geoff !!!
Codename 47 It’s not a new character’s, he live near with the Jesper Kyd Sound Along his life ! Geoff don’t forget this !
Good Work Geoff !
Jesper is a great video game composer. Geoff has done some top work in film and is in the right place (RC) to make this a cool soundtrack. Remember what Harry GW did for The Replacement Killers – I can see this as Geoff’s opportunity to do some pretty cool stuff with the boys at 1547.
Well sorry but I’m glad Jesper isn’t doing it. I mean it peaked with Hitman 2 and from there I really haven’t been impressed.
From what I can see media composers (along with any other form of artiste) tend to build on their strengths and therefore develop their OWN STYLE, and Jesper doesn’t impress me much! Sorry Mate.
I’m off to find myself some Zanelli to make my mind up about him! Good Luck Geoff!!
I can’t wait to hear this, Geoff has a huge amount of talent. After Into the West and Disturbia which I loved, I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.
I don’t know much Geoff Zanelli… I hope he won’t betray the musical spirit of the games, Jesper Kyd did a really good job on them. "Hitman" is more about infiltration than action, I’m afraid the film won’t respect that much… so does the music. Wait & see…
This sucks, why couldn’t they just get Jesper Kyd to do it?
Fucking Geoff Zanelli }:-(
Phenomenal, powerhouse score? That sounds very exciting. As long as it’s not taking the ambient style that the game-score heavily relied on, it’s gonna be a score to look forward to!
