Well he seems to be a good choice if you have no time and need a good score. In the movie the score worked quite well, when I bought the CD I was very disappointed. There is this one "leitmotif" consisting of some string sounds and this is it. The whole score sells you the same melody 18 times. Whenever you think there should be a great, bombastic, orchestra driven end of a track you get to hear a fade and the songs over or continues with some boring rythms.
He is awesome but not very good at answering those important questions. It’s cool, though, that there is some thematic work he did for Pirates, although I knew that him and other Remote Control people did work on the Pirates soundtracks.
