Scoring coverage of Mark Mancina’s SHOOTER
Composer Mark Mancina has just finished recording his score to the new action thriller, “Shooter”. Reuniting with director Antoine Fuqua (“Training Day”), Mancina composed a tense and exciting score for the film and Soundtrack.net features a very interesting article with photos on the scoring sessions.

There is no originallity to this score, he basically did some copy an dpaste from John Powell’s The Bourne Identety. Shame shame shame on Mark Mancina.
Sorry TVXTR, but Mancina composed that kind of score a looooooong time before Powell…
At the official website there’s a 30 seconds sample to every track on the album which will be approx. 54 mins long.
It sounds similar to Phone Booth and Bourne Identity with a hint of Number 23.
PUT ANY TRACK PLEASE….MANCINA S BLOOD TEMA IS VERY GOOD.
I think this is the first Mark Mancina project after some time so I think it will be very interesting, as anyone knows that Mark Mancina is a talented composer.
