Bloody collaboration for Hans ZIMMER & Marc MANCINA

According to its official website, Production I.G. announces that Hans ZIMMER(as producer) & Marc MANCINA(as composer) would score the new TV anime project from the studio, BLOOD+.The opening song will be performed by Hitomi Takahashi, a talented 16 year old singer who topped the Japanese music charts with the opening song for Gundam Seed Destiny.

Production I.G. is known for having animated such titles as Ghost In The Shell, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Patlabor and the anime sequence from Kill Bill. Recently, IG has begun to produce its own original material, with Jin-Roh : The Wolf Brigade & Blood : The Last Vampire.

Blood+, directed by Jun’ichi Fujisaku and supervised by Mamoru Oshii will premiere at Japanese TV on October, the 8th. 2005.
