Been listening to this one again lately. Damn, it's just so good. The pure melody and range of styles in this album makes it such a rich listen.
Tracks like Blessing, A Song For Tree Of Life, Wonderland and Vocation are lovely, and are nice departures from Jablonsky's typical style, while tracks like The Western Wall, Devotion, and Great Chuljeong embrace it with flying colors. Nightmare in particular is extremely interesting, with a combination of Steve's Nightmare on Elm Street style, and some of Jim Dooley's atmospheric stuff in Epic Mickey soundtrack.
The action tracks are surprisingly complex and interesting at times, with each being a very distinct setpiece, that create their own tone fairly well. The only one that doesn't really work for me is Struggling, as I don't think the Gears of War style really fits the fantasy setting. Into the Mayhem, however, is amazing. I think the electronics could have easily been left out, but the raw power in the brass, violins, and choir, characterizes Dragons so well. The D-War references in tracks 11 and 17 are also a lot of fun.
It's so strange to me that this of all things, some throw-away score to a Korean mobile game, manages to have the most interesting and distinctive Steve Jablonsky music of the past 5 years. While I do think TMNT 2 is the best film music we've had from him since Your Highness, this one really does top it in terms of style, excitement, and substantive richness. Wonderland alone is probably the best track Steve and Jay Flood have ever created.
So Steve, please make more music like this! Fantasy suits him so well.
Well, considering there's a lot more advanced orchestral writing in a lot of Transformers: The Game (which was composed by Jablonsky and Flood), than in many of Steve's other projects, I can't help but feel the more advanced stuff here was Flood too. Plus Flood's contribution to "Flying Battle" in D-War kind of makes him seem like the more advanced orchestra composer.

Kind of sad to see "Blessing" and "Wonderland" were at least partially composed by Flood instead of Jablonsky, as those were the most rich, unique, and impressively composed.
Penka Kouneva I also the orchestrator on this one. Maybe it's a faulty credit?
"House Call v1-23697 – Penka Kouneva, BMI" This is the copyright claim I found on a compilation video I made of Jablonsky's music. This claim is where "Vocation" from IDEA plays. Can someone please explain this? I have not been able to find this track Jablonsky (I guess?) ripped off.
Great Chuljeong (Main Theme) very good..thx..
same place where you get almost all scores
Not gonna name it though. it's blocked
Where the hell do I get this?
Well this came out of nowhere…Cool! I'll keep an eye out for it for sure. Asian Jablonsky > Hollywood Jablonsky, if D-War and especially Steamboy are anything to go by…
Yeah I had no idea what this was… lol
