Question, Mr. Stephane. Lorne Balfe said at the end of this ScreenRant interview (https://screenrant.com/wheel-time-amazon-lorne-balfe-composer-interview/) back in 2021 that: “I’m working on a video game that now won’t come out for another two years”. And the description of this one Tina Guo Instagram post back in 2022 (https://www.instagram.com/p/CjS9Hwpr5lc) said: “Day 2 of Remote Recording from my Home Studio for a new Game Soundtrack by @lornebalfe & @hanszimmer”. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about those, would you?

Heard a rumor that it’s Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

In fact, Trevor Morris was asked if he would return for the next Dragon Age and he said that Hans and company were getting busy. Likewise, LB has been saying since 2019 that he is working on his next big game.

The vinyl LP, Dragon Age: Selections from the Orginal Game Soundtrack, has a hidden track called “D’read Koda”, credited to Hans Zimmer and Lorne Balfe. And not only has BioWare changed the name from Dreadwolf to “The Veilguard”, but the first gameplay reveal will be June 11th. Hopefully we’ll get some news on the music too.

Just recently saw the gameplay reveal for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The music is kinda buried underneath all the other noises, but it sounded like it a blend of Zimmer and Balfe’s styles. I could be wrong, but until something is officially confirmed, we’ll just have to wait and see…
