    I just listened to this score for the first time and it sounds so much like The Dark Knight, reusing the Zebra “Clock” sounds from the Joker suite, Mel Wesson’s ambient sound design, so much of this score sounds like TDK

      makes sense since they were done back to back. I think the most interesting thing about this score is that there are no orchestrators for this film. Zimmer and Balfe orchestrated it themselves

      Well, there were no “orchestrators” in the traditional sense as there was no orchestra! The only parts they’d have had to notate would be the soloist parts for Martin Tillman and Ryeland Allison (assuming the latter even had notated parts)

    @Mike – can confirm I still regard Frost/Nixon as a joint Zimmer/Balfe score, although it’s obviously worth noting Hans did the suite, Watergate, and several of the later (and significant) cues by himself
