Though even that version was a pleasure anyway.

    I mean I have used a probably non-legal version.

Hello. Thank you for the songs in this series. Also my apologies for using them without paying.

Hello, I don’t want to cause controversy. I’m relatively new to all of this, but there are things I don’t fully understand about the dynamics of some composers’ work on additional music or how involved they are in certain projects. I guess it depends.
But I’ve seen in several projects where Zimmer appears as the main composer or at the beginning in the credits and the album until the end (like in prehistoric planet), but in the reference sheet he appears again at the beginning.
Or he’s even appeared as a lead when the sound is very much that of the other composer (like Balfe, Fleming, Mazzaro) or maybe in “The Pacific”, I’ve seen photos of Zanelli where it only looks like Zanelli on the cue sheet, but here Zimmer appears and Zanelli, I don’t know if it’s because I use Zimmer material.
I have seen that he has participated in several songs for BBC and it appears that it was arranged by other composers, I don’t know if it is a way to give him lead credit as he does with Mazzaro. Or if his participation is only organizing and supervising.
Prehistoric Planet and Frozen Planet II mention his participation, however I have not seen the 3 composers together now that they did the promotion for the awards. I’ve even seen that a lot of the stuff on Prehistoric Planet was from Talve.
I don’t know if anyone knows how it works or can guide me.
I feel like interviews can be misleading at times.
Thank you for your time and I reiterate that my intention is not to cause controversy, just to learn a little about how it works.

In the case of Zimmer, I understand that he creates the sound palette (in some cases his assistants expand it), he sets the path a bit for how the song should be, perhaps he usually makes a basic demo and then the assistant takes care of everything except when problems arise, Zimmer then approves each song. At the end of the day, Zimmer is the one who sets the tone for how it sounds, but I would say that the development work belongs to the assistant.

Did Zimmer work on all of these tracks? Or did he just make the titles or a suite like with the other nature shows?

Zimmer did a cue for a YouTube Documentary in Antarctica for MrBeast while he was in the area for Frozen Planet II.

Excited for this. And excited for Zimmer to be working with Adam Lukas, who did Primates with Denise Santos. Really love that score and one of my favorite from Bleeding Fingers.
