Saw Hans Zimmer and Friends with my girlfriend on Sunday, we both loved it… Made me wonder (no pun intended), is the version of “Is She With You?” from the WW performance an early suite from Hans? Cause they played nearly the whole cue, but the Batman theme at 0:32 was adjusted to a motif that’s more Wonder Womany, and the Superman motif was also removed at 2:00
The version Hans uses nowadays is rendition produced by Tina Guo and Steve Mazzaro. It first appeared in a music video Tina made I think to promote the first WW movie. There is an older version of the WW theme that’s different from Is She With You and is actually based on Zimmers original suite.
Tbh, I wouldn’t have too high hopes for this, especially since it’s only a Spotify-release as of now. It seems that 3 songs are added: Top Gun Maverick Main Titles (previously released as a single after the LIVE album came out) and two songs from Dune Part 2: “Part 1, Intro” and “Part 2, A Time of Quiet Between the Storms”. However, I wonder whether those will be new recordings or if they are taken from the World of Hans Zimmer Part II album, since these songs were performed on both tours. I suspect the latter, given that the tracks have the exact same titles and length and that the same artists as WOHZ are credited.
So basically, it looks like it’s going to be a playlist with a few already released songs added to bring the setlist more in line with the upcoming film.

On Spotify there is currently a pre-save option for the upcoming Hans Zimmer Live (Extended Version) on March 13th – any info on how extended that would be? Can’t find anything on the net.

i have been in Bologna, Italy, last may, and I saw a fantastic show. After two years wait but its was wonderful. I have only one complain: they have played without Backing vocals. Would have been nicer, the perfection.
