I’m sorry but mixing orchestra with rock is nothing new or original… it has been done before by loads of people and the sound is very commercial and not at all what I like about Zimmer’s music. World of Hans Zimmer has the music being performed the way I know it, like it was written.
HZ live was a nice attempt to bring in different audiences into the world of film music but other than that, it wasn’t a good concert in my opinion. Some things like rain Man, Madagascar and true Romance worked very well but as soon as there were “bigger” pieces being performed it all just got loud and didn’t sound like it should.
On the other hand, World of hans zimmer is a great concert and I can’t wait to see it again and buy the CD!
Agree 100%. The World of Hans Zimmer is so much better music wise than this show.
Thanks, Alexander and Waymann!
You just made my day
"The orchestra seems too recessed and percussion in some tracks are over pronounced"
On a Zimmer product? No!
what was your favorite concert? mannheim, frankfurt or at the cinema?
I am surpised hans didnt film the concert where lisa gerrard performed.
The album includes 2 CD's and will be released on November 3rd (source: amazon.de)
Has anyone had any luck getting an autograph after one of his concerts? Going to one soon.
I am waiting for this DVD since the concert in April 2016.
I would appreciate any information on this subject.
Hey guys! Could someone explain the difference between the "Hans Zimmer Live On Tour" and the "Hans Zimmer Revealed Tour"?
Thanks!
