The music for the «Interstellar» film came into this world as if it had completed a space-time loop – it combined the romance of the 70s and 80s, when electronic music called to the stars, with the technology and realities of the 21st century, when people had no choice but to embark on endless journeys and search for a backup planet. What have we been doing for three decades? It seems we were asleep. And this music awakened many. In any case, it settled in my player in 2014 and I listen to it regularly to this day. Thank you, Hans Zimmer, for this beautiful musical world!
Where are the day one scores?? I want to learn more about its musical structure and its composition :D
Do we know anything about who worked on No Time for Caution? Is that cue all Hans or did anyone else (like Steve or Andrew) play a part in it as well?
First of all, it’s great to be back
Second, I dunno about this particular cue but based on my experience listening Mazzaro and Kaczynski additional music I can say this:
Cues like: 1m05 Dust Storm, 5m22B, and 6m24 Coward most likely are by Kawczynski
Mazzaro – 5m19, 5m21,…
I think most of what ended up on album is mostly just Hans… But since he is a busy boy, he handled less important cues to his additionals…
No Time For Caution was Hans + music editors
Is there a way to get a vinyl with the complete discography of this?
There is the extended edition which runs over five sides compared to the 2LP edition. It’s also sonically superior.
Are all the “day one suites” mockups only, that are:
Suite – Day One (3:22)
Suite – Day One v7.09 (1:39)
Suite – Day One v10.03 (2:46)
Suite – Day One (Original Demo) (3:49)
Suite – Day One Dark (6:38)
Are all of the above hans zimmer original mockups, or they were re-recorded with the orchestra?
Guys does anyone know,
in all the day one suites there are, are all hans zimmer mockups straight from his rcp ct studios, or some are re-recorded orchestral versions, just wanted to know?
Day one has a little more suites that it was in tracklist earlier. And it doesn’t havr composer’s credits on this to this day.
