Explosions In The Sky

Is Jacob Shea responsible for “4m34 v1.30 47 Down”?
By the way, it is a bit weird that v1.40 has only piano in second half, or it was intended to sound like that?
new details added!) thx
Prologue by Steve is great!
Ha, I was fooled! lol
Whoa, there was a whole score by Steve? Is this new info?
I think it was a known fact for more than 5 years…
They wrote scores in parallel. EITS started writing a score, then Jablonsky wrote his own score as a "back up", the whole 80 min of it, just in case…
Film ends up using both scores, but most of the score in film is EITS. The only Jablonsky cues used are the ones in the OST (so, roughly 20 minutes)…
Are you sure about this?
Looks like Steve wrote score, but then Berg didn’t like some parts of it and hired EITS
Troops in Contact, 47 Down, and the whole ending section weren’t scored at all by EITS
So they planned to use Jablonsly’s best pieces from the start
….or maybe I got the wrong Intel… that could be the case too…
Anyone else find it odd that in the film the score is pitched higher than on the OST?
Explosions In The Sky & Steve Jablonsky Makes A great Post Rock Soundtrack For lone Survivor. This Is Best Collaboration With The Director Peter Berg Just Like Other Movie Like Deepwater Horizon & Patriots Day
Can't even find the soundtrack on any American sites. Is it really coming out today?
