Has anyone else heard this? I got it a couple of weeks back and i can tell you i really liked it. Stephen is a very nice fellow and his music for this movie is so heart-warming, romantic and gentle, very nice music. It reminds me of Zimmer’s scores for Spanglish, The Holiday and all but a bit more organic and classical-oriented, slightly bringing to mind the relevant Cliff Eidelman works: with its more refined orchestrations, elegant arrangements, focus on woodwinds (notably the clarinet) and beautiful solos overall, especially the warm cello and beautiful violin ones. We’ll be surely hearing a lot more from Stephen in the near future!
