I want! I want!
Wrong assumption, it is not Hybrid that deleted the posts.
LOL HYBRID, I LIKE YOU SO FOR DELETING ALL :D
Nevermind, i just found out it's an Audiomachine track.
Although I do Agree with you Ed on the Fact that XL has Had an awkward career. In terms of only working on 3 cues in MoS (Which I credit to Zimmer anyway because they are basically his stuff just re-arranged) and Additional music here and there he hasen't done much. Although I give him credit cause…hey you got to start somewhere.
I agree Zimmer probably did the cool stuff XL seems like the rhythmic Type
I'll agree that the last 3 minutes of General Zod were noteworthy….even though they sounded like a hazy mix of Marry Me from At World's End and the Camerlengo Suite from Angels & Demons. I have a feeling, Hybrid, that the last three minutes of the General Zod suite was Zimmer, then the stuff before that was JunkieXL?
Thankfully for everyone who's not me, I guess… XD
I'm just not really sure what Mr. XL has done to deserve not just one, but TWO big movies like this. What is there in his discography that shows he'd be able to handle a large-scale historical epic like the 300 sequel? A couple of remixes and the odd bit of additional music…Just goes to show that it pays to be friends with Hans Zimmer in Hollywood. :/
poor remixes? He is one of the only composers who actually do some very good remixes imo!
