After 18 years, Steve Jablonsky is scoring another animated movie: DC Super-Pets
Movie coming in May 2022.
Very excited for Steve. I remember him saying in an interview that he’d love to do another animated movie, but that he struggled to get any offers because he was always labeled as the action guy. It seems that maybe his intentional time off was to get a bit of a reset to do more things that would naturally be up his alley, like DC Super Pets or even Red Notice (which is decent, nothing spectacular.) Hoping for more Jabs output coming soon!

The best Jablonsky score since… i don’t know
A lot of fun, great rhythms, and a really catchy main theme (is like a mix between Gangster Sqaud main theme mix with Giacchino)
Anyone else think Steve Jablonsky might score Black Adam? He scored a few dwayne johnson films and dwayne personally tweeted how much he liked his work on Skyscraper. I hoping it’s Steve but praying it’s Bear McCreary

There’s a good chance he does. DC Superpets is always a Dwayne Johnson movie… interesting that most of Steve’s recent work is with the Rock.
