The last true HZ score? Interstellar is very good but does not sound like HZ. The rest since then are,,,,,,well, not impressive. It’s sad to see an icon fall back on empty gestures to appease a Gen that will actually appreciate his earlier works. Talk about self-defeating nonsense. If HZ goes experimental, he alienates everyone who likes him – carry on, buddy old boy.

Interstellar is not as great, as some people say it is. But I strongly recommend everybody to listen to Murphy Suite.

      Rush is alright…

Stopwatch is one of my favorite cues with Hans’s name on it. The end credits version too. The piece is like an instant mood lift/productivity booster.

I’d love the film version of Niki Builds His Car. Quite different from Stopwatch.

this showed up on my Netflix today!! never in my life have i clicked on a recommendation this fast before 😅 😅 i adore this score and this is loretta’s favorite. loretta is my car 😊 we used to blast it on our way to the office in the early mornings. there wasn’t a soul to stop us.

good movie too! i was quite surprised at times.

i knew there was a kind of rivalry based on the score. but i would have never guessed the personalities of both characters based on the score alone. i enjoyed the contrast between YOLO (you only live once) and a very intellectual approach to life 😄 😄
