^ Agreed! Plus, Lone Ranger as a whole seemed heavily temp-tracked – or, at the very least, elements of Sherlock Holmes, Angels & Demons, and Inception/The Thin Red Line were very obviously lifted.
If you want an example of Zimmer doing great work (largely) on his own, look no further than The Da Vinci Code, IMO.
I'd say Geoff Zanelli doing the best cue of the score on his own is about as "direct" as it gets!

Since when did he do The Lone Ranger all by himself? :-D it seems like it was more like a gigantic team effort.

OMG, I love it. I love when rupert did the soundtrack by himself, i mean without "direct" help from other composers Like "Balfe" since I think he's very creative(Rupert I mean) when he work alone Like Zimmer When he work alone give us a masterpiece(interstellar; Lone Ranger; Dark knight Rises…). Maybe, he feel more comfortable when he work alone…
No idea, the documentary hasn't been released yet (only on a festival).
