Any chance we’ll see an expanded soundtrack release for the first two movies?

The opening track should be around 3:05, not 2:40…

Or the opening was edited for movie?

Pretty sure it’s an edit, yeah

    “7m55 v10R Killing The Russians”
    That was a bit racist…

I’m sad Harry’s not back for Equalizer 3 :( His music really added to these movies!

Yeah the music works in 3. I edited some HGW score from the first two into the third film and it fits like a glove tho!! Idk why Fuqua didn’t want his music (or why he chose not to come back?)

Yeah, it worked “okay”, but really, it was nothing special. I mean, HGW attemps were also not something great, but I’ve totally missed his little piano emotional cues. These little things gave the first two movies a soul for me.

And especially since it was the LAST chapter, so the final movie, it really is hard to understand why HGW haven’t scored it.

@Stephane: Would you know if it was HGW decission due to other projects? Or Fuqua?

What do you guys think about Tony Scott/HGW collaboration works?

HGW got his signature writing style working with Tony Scott… So, what is your favorite?

Do you think this style is good or bad?

That style of music? I LOVE it to death

    • Tom December 19, 2023 at 5:08 pm - Reply

Yeah the “Alone” theme was sorely missing from the third film…Also the McCall action motif. I fit both into a couple scenes from 3 and they worked beautifully. I like HGW’s Tony Scott scores, yeah. Taking of Pelham 123 is underrated IMO. Man on Fire is great of course
