So, this is more or less where HAZ transitioned from NGS as co-composer as he was probably busy with Man in the Iron Mask – surprised Powell and HGW were not more explict here, but Powell would have been busy doing Face/Off.

What Greenaway did on this one except chase scene?
Gavin wrote/arranged about 1/4 of the score. The Chase scene but also had a hand on the Helicopter Chase or Dusan With Bomb for instance. The rest is Hans. To keep it simple with the cuesheet they rather gave Gavin 100% of one of his cues rather than, say, 20% of 5 cues.
Thank you for the explanation. That makes so much sense. I LOVED this score in 1997 and have to say it is not that amazing nowadays. The HZ use of samples and silly compressions really take the toll here. It just often sounds like a sole German guy, sitting at home, hammering away at a keyboard. Despite the 200 performers in the CD credits. Where did the expansive sound go and why?
