So, to get back to your questions.
I asked both Henning & Martin, that theme was written by Martin ! :)
As for the unrated version, I checked it out (does make the film better actually), 80% of the score is untouched, but some scenes that have new edits rather have some temp track (sometimes from The Ring) and some cues disappeared (like Jakes & Emily, Jake's Demise, Deer Attack) replaced by temp. I saw on IMDb that there was ANOTHER version of the unrated that briefly saw the light of the day in 2005, which was most likely a DreamWorks fuck up having a workprint of the movie out with a lot of temptrack (Henning confirmed this too).

That's an excellent question actually. To me it always was something from Martin Tillman. But in the cuesheet credits are kinda contradictory since it appears on cues credited to either Martin or Henning (Hans always being the common denominator). I should just ask Martin or Henning.
As for the Unrated, interesting I never knew there was one ! I'm definitely gonna check it out and see what they did with the score ! :)

Is the theme in "Let The Dead Get In (Remix)" by Lohner and Tillman themselves, or did Zimmer have a hand in it? It's probably my favorite contribution in the 2nd score, so I'm curious to know.
Also, I heard about how the unrated version of the film has different music compared to the theatrical cut. Is it what was originally composed or was it stuff that's tracked?

Wait….I thought Hans was not involved with The Ring 2. They only used his theme from the original movie. Yet, looking at the credits here, his name is everywhere.
Interesting…
